This app is worth paying for! So much practical inspiration to make the best use of my scarves. I appreciate the clean layout and excellent filter options (e.g., scarf size, with/without scarf ring, level of difficulty). You can even filter by what area of scarf is highlighted/hidden, which is handy based on the scarf colors you’re trying to foreground for your outfit (or maybe to hide a stain?).

Super useful and educational resource for all interested in learning, improving or perfecting their scarf tying techniques. Each knot is shown in an easy-to-follow video along with accompanying written summary (with lots of details including suggested variations). Very highly recommend to everyone!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS APP!! MaiTai clearly demonstrates each step, stopping to emphasize where her hands are and where she is putting her ands and or folding the scarf . She goes slowly so that one can follow her and doesn’t use “edgy” jumpy editing that detracts and destroys continuity. Her videos are visually pleasing and keep the focus on instruction. Her descriptions are excellent as well. Many of her demonstrations can be adapted for an oblong scarf. I do that. However I personally like working with a square scarf better. Folded Hermes style it can operate like an oblong scarf but it can also be folded in half and work in a triangle shape.

I love this app because the videos show you how easy it is to wear your scarves in the most beautiful variety of styles. I’ve purchased many scarf books over the years and nothing matches up to this wonderful catalog of styles and tutorial videos. Thank you MaiTai!

The lovely scarf formations not only artfully display the particular features of Hermes scarfs but also those of other materials and manufacture to change the emphasis of a color, a central design feature or a border. They show how to change a neckline of a tank, a shell, a shirt, a blouse, a sweater, a jacket and a coat. A thousand different looks. On a recent trip to Paris, everyone was wearing a scarf so this tool allowed me to pretend to be a sophisticated Parisian or at least feel like one. The directions are clear and easy to follow and this easy app replaces the other books I’ve acquired on scarf wearing so it is always handy.

I love my scarves and I love seeing the variety of ways I can wear them. I just cleaned my maxi twil according to the instructions in this app and it came out beautifully. It is so nice to not have to worry about the cleaners messing up my scarves.

I’ve always loved scarves but didn’t really know how to wear them and usually reverted to ‘twice around the neck.’ This awesome app has upped my game and I now wear my scarves more often and receive compliments on my mad skills. The app provides numerous options for scarves of all sizes as well as a filter for style, scarf size, ease of tying and more. There is a video tutorial for every style that can be played in slow motion for those of us who are slow learners! If you own any scarves, this app is a must!

I know you’re thinking- why pay for a scarf tying app? Because it’s thoughtfully designed and user friendly. I love that MaiTai highlights what section of the scarf will be seen with each variation. Each video is short, simple and easy to follow. I like that she tells you what scarf size works best. She also uses scarf rings which I very much like. It’s a very beautifully made app that makes styling and wearing scarves look effortless and fashionable.

I have a bunch of beautiful Hermès scarves that were seldom used because I never could quite figure out how to style them properly. This app has changed everything for me. I now love wearing my scarves because I have learned how to wear them with panache! The tutorials are easy to follow, and the app is visually beautiful! Well worth the purchase and then some! Love it!

I love this app. There is a great deal of variety in how you can tie your scarves. It helps to keep me from wearing my H scarves the same hum-drum way all the time. But I really wish that there was a way to search by the type of scarf, not just by knot type... such as mousseline, shawl or plisse. Sometimes I just don’t have enough time to search through all the knots to find in the description whether or not it would work for the type of scarf I have chosen to wear that day.

Clear instructions, lots of variations (different ways to wear each knot, how it looks with scarves of different sizes). I’ve been able to wear almost all of them and make mine look just like hers. The only ones that don’t work for me are knots worn very close to her neck. My neck is larger than hers and there’s not enough fabric in the scarf to recreate the knot.

I love scarves, but have trouble getting the most value from my collection because I get bored wearing the same way. Additionally, I live in a hot climate that makes wearing many popular styles too uncomfortable. This app has the answers for me. One can go deep into how to showcase specific areas of the scarf design, different variations in how you arrange the knot, and very clear video tutorials with captions and time stamps. Or, you can quickly glance over the title photos for a reminder. The filters are very helpful for saving time in choosing what style suits your needs. I feel this app is well worth the price for all the information presented so beautifully and that it has updates to keep it current.

I love the different knot ideas, and filters make it easy to find inspiration for your specific scarf based on size/pattern/etc. The instructions are easy to follow too. I ended up buying this app for my mom as well. She just bought her first scarf and had no idea how to wear it either. Thank you!!

I love this app - it is so well thought out and easy to use. I have a suggestion for an additional filter - could you add a filter for “neckline” so that we can see recommendations for which scarf ties look best with V-necks, round collars or bateau necklines? Thank you!

You will not find better instructions for tying a variety of knots and learning how to drape your scarves in a way that will show off the patterns of your fine silk scarves. This app is a must for anyone serious about learning the art. First there is an ample selection from simple to pleated to ruffled to flower-like to cowboy style. An experienced, knowledgeable person illustrates step by step how to achieve the perfect knot or bow. Anyone can follow this app and become an expert. It is an excellent investment that you won’t regret.

I have been wearing Hermes scarves for years. I read many scarf blogs to get ideas, but this app is the best I have ever found to get me past the basics. I bring my iPad to my mirror with me when I put together my morning outfit, play one of MaiTai’s videos a couple of times, and voila! A fresh new look! Highly recommended to anyone who wears silk scarves. 🧡🧡🧡

I have always been a fan of MaiTai’s tutorials so to have them all handy — i didn’t hesitate to buy the app! Good tutorials, easy to follow and understand, good camera angles, variable speeds, etc. I just wish we could also buy the scarf ring that is used for each tutorial through the app via link. Instead of having to go to the website separately.

While the cost of the app is kind of high, it definitely delivers value for money. Not only are there many videos showing how to tie and wear a scarf in a myriad of ways, it also includes the very useful feature of how to highlight or, conversely, how to downplay certain areas of a scarf. I’m glad I downloaded the app.

This is a wonderful app making easier this art of tying your elegant silk scarf, Hermes or otherwise. It is better than having your best friend trying to help. I have lots to discover on this app, but so far it is really genius!

A great balance of the left brain and right brain for the art of scarves and scarf-wearing. Logical and artistic. For example, the app shows which portion(s) of a scarf that will be highlighted or shown by each knot. That is very helpful and I have not seen that type of information anywhere else. It can turn one scarf into many scarves in terms of different looks and feel. Super functional if you own or travel with a few scarves.

I am a long time follower of Mai Tai and from the very beginning, she generously shared her love of Hermès scarves and the beautiful knots she would tie with them. Then she started her blog, followed by her accessories business. Now this app has taken her to the next level of her endless creativity! I have never added an app to my phone so quickly. The photography is so beautiful and the knots, with and without scarf rings, are so easy to follow. This app is absolutely amazing and demonstrates in clear easy to follow tutorials every possible way to tie your scarves. There is tons of useful categories such as knots that are windproof or keep warm, light and breezy etc. There is a timer feature where you can watch in regular speed or faster if you need a refresher or slower to learn a technique. Mai Tai uses beautiful scarf rings for most of the knots that she sells of which I own several, but there are also knots that don’t require a ring. I especially love the filter that allows you to save your favorite knots. This app is the only tool you will ever need to master the art of wearing a scarf. It’s a MUST HAVE for any scarf lover.

Hints and tips to best show scarf features. So much thought and planning must have gone into the development. Love this new Scarf Art app. It is so easy to use and the videos are wonderful. The speed can be adjusted to help with parts you need more time. The photos are gorgeous and gives an idea how different scarves will look with different knots. So many knots for every size scarf. A must have for any scarf lover. Fabulous!

My Aunt introduced me to MaiTai’s website, blog and scarf tying videos several years ago. With that, I was finally able to figure out how to WEAR my silk scarves! MaiTai’s app is incredible and takes tutorials to the next level. While I enjoyed her video tutorials, this app makes everything much easier! Simply select what your level of expertise is (beginner all the way to masterclass) and you’re presented with scarf tying tutorials based on your level of expertise, with a targeted selection of other filters to choose from. I love that she provides a filter for “Keeping Warm” and “Light & Breezy” ensuring you have ways to wear your beloved silk scarves year-round. Another cool feature is where she highlights which part of the scarf will show depending on which way you fold it and/or tie it. This app is really well-done and a must for anyone looking to wear scarves [of all sizes]!

Love this app! The demos are extensive and not your typical collection of common scarf tying techniques. I’m a fan of the creators gorgeous website, and this app is consistent with the site’s elegant presentation and style. The tutorials are easy to follow, and beautifully done. If you love scarves (especially beautiful silk ones) and want to significantly expand your scarf tying repertoire, and perfect the ones you may already be familiar with, this is the app for you.

This app is very helpful for scarf lovers who want to take their look to the next level. It’s easy to use and features many different scarf looks with the tying instructions shown in short videos. One of the app’s many good features is how it describes the specific part(s) of a scarf that a particular knot emphasizes. For example, haven’t we all had a scarf with a beautiful center design or some sort of interesting embellishment along the border that we didn’t know how to show off? Well now you can find the knots that do this work. Also, notice the pretty scarf rings that are used in the videos - these are available on Mai Tai’s website. They are excellent quality. I highly recommend this app and look forward to enjoying my scarf collection in many new ways!
